Re: [FWDLK] Want 57-61 Convert

Was "Beautiful Red" an OEM color ?  I don't show it on any of my chip charts.

Personally, I think it is a contradiction in terms.

Joe Machado here and on a trip around the US. I just got a call from a friend in Calif who asked if my trailer will be empty going home. So far, yes, it is empty. He wants to buy a convert, 57 thru 61 with fins. So, here I am in Santa Rosa Beach, Florida. I am one hour East of Pensacola and 2 hours West of Tallahassee, Fla. near Fort Walton Beach, Fla. It can be a done car or needs to be restored. Pictures to me a must obviously. Prefer a non rusty, but a low rust would be considered. In conversation past with him, a non Mopar is a possible, but does prefer a Mopar. I think he is not looking for a 61 Plymouth as it has no fins. I think his preferrence is 59-60 Dodge, 59-60 Plymouth, 57, 58, 59 DeSoto. Not sure on 61 Dodge or 57-58 Dodge or Plymouths. So, if you have, it would be considered. Lets talk before I head to Calif. No price was mentioned.  joe machado     Daytona06@xxxxxxx  I also sent this email to Gary, the friend of ours that is looking. Gary may be open to a trade with some done cars he has. All 3 of these cars are done show cars he may trade with. 69 Dodge Daytona 440 auto tribute, with Factory Air, R4 Red with black interior, black stripe. 68 Charger RT, Gorgeous Red with white vinyl top, white stripe and white interior and 440 auto with Factory Air, also a tribute car. Also a 70 Challenger, gorgeous white with red stripes, red interior, 440 6-Pak auto with Factory Air, also a trubute car.
All 3 of these cars my son, Sean Machado, performed a show and extremely dependable, driveable restoration as if they were correct serial numbered cars. They are truly amazing cars. They have been driven to shows and win awards and judges thought they were correct original cars.   I await your responses.
