I have a 1956 Plymouth Fury, and you are right. They came stock with a
4-barrel, but there was a factory option two 4-barrel carb and manifold
available. I had both for mine, but installed the twin 4’s for restoration. The
SS louvered air cleaners came off a 1956 T-Bird, and you can still buy
them.

I'm fairly sure they had an aluminum 2x4 intake manifold for racing
available that was if I'm not mistaken an over the counter piece with WCFBs and
round louvered chrome air cleaners, someone please correct me if I'm
wrong.
