Dave or somebody more familiar with ‘56 Dodges would know best, but as I recall there is no rubber gasket under the mirror bases because they bolt to the chrome trim, not to the paint.

56 Dodge mirror gasket needed, (2) the rubber that goes under the mirror base to the chrome molding on the body…..

I did not see them listed on the Gary Goers site, dose anybody make them?
