Looks like the tanking economy has even killed intakes- I've been watching all the vedors at carlisle sell the single 4bbl intakes for 300+ with asking prices of 400 and up- there's a higher demand for 4bbl intakes than dual quad intakes due to the fact dual quad spec WCFBs arent cheap, and one 4bbl is a better performer on the street than 2 on the tiny poly blocks
3 yrs ago I traded a dual quad intake for a single 4...
so- if anyone can grab it for 140.. they're getting a deal, you just about cant buy one for a small block chevy at that price these days!
