My Folks used to have one just like it
when I was ~7-12 yrs old, They bought it new from dealer in San
Diego and we drove it up to our new home in Sunnyvale. I was in the back-back
(loose of course) one day coming home from church when we got broadsided and
spun around by a ’60 Chevy. It wasn’t a total! They
never told me who ran the light for sure . . . I Just remember it was a two
barrel and powerflite tranny, dad was always cussing at it because of a hot
starting issue, probably flooded or faulty accelerator pump? Got traded
towards a ’56 Caddy ;-/(?)

Folks, a friend of mine is looking at this 57 Sport
Suburban? (hoping the picture came across) Has sat for a couple years,
needs carb (and probably tank) cleaned as well, of course not running.
Supposedly "restored" 10+ years ago. Probably longer really. Interior
is "decent" (which makes me wonder about the quality of resto). What
is a good price for this 57?
