The weight you see published like the 3300+/- in publications is very optimistic!  When I raced a coupe. ..with big block and lightened body (keep in mind a 440 with 727 is lighter than poly with iron tf) the car weighed in at 3900+ with driver.  I'd say a 4drht empty would be at least 3850 without driver..based on structure
