Re: [FWDLK] Mopar Carpets

In the interest of accuracy, the forward look era carpeting that we've seen in Dodge, Chrysler, and De Sotos have all been serge bound, not trimmed in carpet binding.....

The OEM rubber floor mats are Unobtanium.

The OEM carpeting is VERY simple to replicate; any good, local, auto upholstery shop
can custom cut and fit basically-straight sections of carpeting, with the front section over-lapping the rear section by about 6". and with very little selvage (vinyl edging) being used ...at least, in the Dodges.

I have lots of photos showing how the OEM (Dodge) carpeting was installed.

All that I see on line for our Forwardlook Mopars are for 2dr hardtops.  How different would carpets for 4dr hardtops or sedans be, and does anyone make them?  How about the full rubber mats that so many of our cars have?
