Re: [FWDLK] Mopar Carpets

Sometimes that is the rub - finding a competent, cost-conscious shop.  I am having a problem finding a shop to work on my 74 Charger, to include hanging a new quarter panel, rebuilding the front end, and painting the car.  Seems most shops don't want to work on older cars, when they can work on today's "throw-away" cars which require little body-working skill, other than the ability to remove a fender or hood and bolt a new one back on (or if showing moderately significant damage, just write it off for the insurance).

If you have your carpets replaced/installed by any competent, local
automotive-interior shop, no problemos; the new coverings will be a perfectly-
customized size and shape to your ride's floor pan areas.

And: if you have any problems with their work-product, you can have a face:face discussion with them
about that matter.

That is my concern - Was the 4dr Sedan or hardtop floors longer than the 2dr?

I would assume that the carpet they sell will fit 2dr HTs would also fit 4dr HTs, 4dr sedans, etc. since the size of the floorboards is the same for these models. ACC and other carpet suppliers supply oversize carpeting, so they can be trimmed to size. I would contact ACC (http://www.accmats.com/), since they supply most of the automotive carpet to resellers, if you have any concerns.

All that I see on line for our Forwardlook Mopars are for 2dr hardtops.  How different would carpets for 4dr hardtops or sedans be, and does anyone make them?  How about the full rubber mats that so many of our cars have?
