Batteries are so much better now than 1955, I’m sure most any Group 2 battery would have more CCA.  If you want a duplicate of the original Andy Bernbaum sells them.  You have to call for price.

 

The last time I got a battery for my 55 DeSoto a couple years ago my battery place only had Group 1 and it put out more than the original Group 2.

What is  the cold cranking amps of the 1955 Imperial 6 volt battery?  Mine is 10 years old and time to replace it.
