Re: {Chrysler 300} Rocker slop

I've seen exactly that with stock hydraulic non adjustable rocker arms on big block mopars. Seems the pushrod and the rocker " center" themselves when running so unless you have a wild cam in there with huge lift, its probably just fine. If you are still worried, you can pull the shaft off really easily and clean and check the sides of each rocker for excessive wear- the stamping ( when made) of the rocker itself sets the spacing on these.

Decided to do a checkup on the valve train while I was this deep into the valve cover gaskets replacement. Wondering if this much slop is normal between rockers or should I look into adding shims? Thanks in advance for your input
