[Chrysler300] Pertronix Ign. - alternative for hemi motors

If the Pertronix isn't available for your hemi, Bob Walker at Hot Heads Hemi
has recipes & supplies for using new, factory-type mopar electronic
distributors in most early hemi engines. Using reliable stock small block
units and adjusting the shaft length via machined collars, he seems to offer
a good & cost-effective choice. I think they use the factory "orange box"
that can be hidden under the dash or inside the heater box mounting
area...should you have a Dodge or Desoto motor in your lettercar.

Hi Gary,

Yes, it is me and I have them for dual point Chrysler Hemi 331, 354 and 392
distributors in 6 volt positive ground or 12 volt negative ground. Besides
these units we carry the full line of Pertronix products and can offer
discounts to club members. We get a lot of calls regarding other
applications, DeSoto etc. Unfortunately we do not have these and at present
have no plans on getting involved with them.

If an individual wants to have such an application not listed above my
suggestion is to contract Pertronix directly. You will have to send in your
distributor to have one made and the cost is rather high.

Should anyone need further info please e-mail me privately.

Several months ago a member said he sales the Pertronix Ign. systems in
his business. It seems it was John Lazenby but the cob webs are getting
thicker under the gray hair. Does anybody remember who it was?.
