[Chrysler300] Transmission Cable O-ring replacement

Hi Group,
I have a transmission fluid leak on my 300H and it seems to be coming from the area of the shift cable. Can anyone coach me in the replacement of the o-ring where the cable enters the transmission? In particular, how do I disengage the cable from the tranny? And after the o-ring is replaced, how do I re-connect and adjust the cable for proper operation? When I remove the cable, will I loose a lot of fluid? etc., etc., etc.

Thanks for your help,
Mark Souders
