    I have the vinyl covered windlace from Gary Goers installed in my C when 
I replaced it 3 years ago. He sells in it a roll that measures 16-20 feet 
and guarantees that there is more than enough to do a complete interior 
windlace replacement. It looks great and matches the interior color

Thanks for all the responses on Gary Goers as a source for  300C/D windlace.
In his catalog, however, he states that he "...carries  a complete line of
cloth-covered windlace...".   The original windlace, however, is  obviously
vinyl, not  cloth-covered.  This is different from the windlace used in the 
later
cars.  Does anyone out there actually have a sample of Gary's windlace that
he supplies for the 300C/D?  And if so, is it vinyl or cloth covered?
