[Chrysler300] showroom album thought, plus other

A thought or query from afar re Showroom Albums not having much content re
300s - correct me if wrong, weren't the 300s released a few months after the
rest of each year's new models - in the case of '57 300Cs production seems
to have started lare Dec 56 - so if 300s not released until say 3 months
after all rest of range, it would be hard to include in 3 months earlier
print run of annual Dealer Showroom Album?!
Plus, early on 300s had only one basic color/type of interior, so no point
of including in Album, because there was no other choice to show other
options/choices?!

If I am wrong, blame the aussie in the place he said/says is boring - this
because South Australia lately seems embarassed about it's magnificent early
colonial buildings and character such that our current State Govt of 4 years
cannot approve developers knocking them down fast enough, plus some of the
too few good annual events like one of world's best classic car termac
Rallys has gone for modern cars. SA to it's credit was I believe the only
State in Australia to import an early 300 when near new - a white 300C that
sadly now is near beyond saving. We also had the nation's Chrysler Plant,
it starting out as an early century body building firm taken over by
Chrysler. Mitsubishi bought it out late 70s when Chrysler exited, and rumour
is if Mitsubishi bail out soon as tipped, Chrysler may buy it back.

And a quick final, I am not the one with $1200 hubcaps, all my 300 money
lately is going into paying my welder to put real metal back into my third
300C where some previous owner (or owners?!) in US had put alloy mesh and
bondo - now working on the driver's side, after undoing all the nasty little
bolts that hold all front guard, diecast etc on today, I am turning white
haired from the absolute two worst/dumbest gaurd patch repairs I have ever
found, plus grinding near a can a repair I tackle - luckily the rest of
gaurd is mint/undamaged.
I think there are now 2 aussies on the Club site - I am the aussie C, he is
the aussie D, if that doesn't confuse you.

I won a 57 Mopar Dealer's Comic on ebay today - maybe you will have peace
from me while I read it when I get it, and it likely tells me why we all
should buy magnificent new '57 Mopar product, but I bet it doesn't mention
rust !!
