[Chrysler300] Fuel tank varnish deposits

          Hi Group,
While this is not a specific 300 question, it deals with a mechanical
problem we all are subject to. While rebuilding the carburetors on my
440-six pak engine, I noticed a gummy build up of varnish in the carbs.
(I should have used Sta-Bil before storing the vehicle 4 years ago). The
varnish comes off quite easily using Gum Out carb. cleaner. However, I'm
sure there must be the same amount of varnish in the tank, fuel line and
pump. Has anyone had any luck with a store bought varnish and gum
remover that can be added to the fuel tank that would dissolve the
sticky stuff, thereby cleansing the entire fuel system?

Thanks for your input
