'61 Oil pans & pickups

Happy Monday. Faux enthusiasm for sure. Trying to test your patience for
dumb questions... Is a stock '61 oil pan is considered a "front sump" pan?

The sump IS kinda forward of center, but there is still a bit more to go.
I'd like to temporarily put a 440 in a '61, and wondered what pan & pickup
to buy?

Can I put the orig. 413 pan & pickup in a stock 440? Many thanks & best
wishes for a merry Christmas. vath
