[Chrysler300] Hood hinge springs

          Hello Group,
The hood hinge springs on my F are starting to loose
their strength. The hood has a tendency to gently close while
unattended. I know that trunk hinge springs were available a couple of
years ago, and I wonder if the same manufacturer can or will supply the
hood springs ?
          Thanks
           Vic Selvaggi

Rob, John and all,

I have to say I really enjoyed reading that piece! It reminded me a bit
of
the Richard Bachman's (Stephen Kings Pseudonym) short: Stand By Me which
was
later made into an absolutely wonderful and quite touching movie.

I felt a lot of the same emotion reading this story of the dual quad New
Yorker that I did reading that Bachman short story many many years ago.
I
will cross my fingers for the movie!

For compliance purposes only: My G stick is STILL not done!!!!

Happy Motoring,

John

John,
This story beats the pants off my mano-a-mano (with chick that looked
like
Carol Cunningham) race in my 300C against a sugar daddy out for a Sunday
drive in a Mazda Miata!! Great read! Thanks for sharing this with the
club
and the tongue-in-cheek 300 batwing way of getting it on our list
server!
John you're a gem! ROB KERN

Some of you will probably enjoy the story of the Monster Machine, a '58
New
Yorker with dual quads and a 55 batwing air cleaner (which makes it
300-related)... the author e-mailed it to me via the club's web site,
and
gave me permission to share it with this group. I enjoyed it. It's
rather
long, make sure you have some time on your hands!
