[Chrysler300] holes in the trunk of 1960 300F

I have two holes about 2" around on each side of the trunk down in the well where the card board goes down into.Can anyone tell me what they are for? Also where can I buy the 2 backup light  complete fixtures. Right now I have 2 holes that looks thru from the trunk to the backup lenses. Thanks Victor
