I verified that my AACA list of classes also states 36C as including Letter series 300's.

I just checked the results of the AACA Grand Nationals last year and there  
as a 57 300 and a 59 300 in class 36C which is high performance  MOPARS.  
lass 36C should be for letter cars 1955-1965.
