RE: [Chrysler300] 300C and 300D Fuel injection

That is Tom White's car in the article. His restoration shop and the
car itself are legendary. I have been fortunate enough to see the
schematics of the injector system (unbelievably complicated..each
injector requires a different amount of electrical current to operate
properly), be given a full run down on the restoration by Tom himself
and see and hear the car run. It was quite an undertaking for him and
his staff to do this job.

Happy Motoring!

Warren and All,

There is an extensive article in the October 2004 Hemmings Classic Car
(Issue #1) regarding a completely restored 1958 De Soto Adventurer with
Electronic FI (Electrojector FI). The issue is still available (or it
was a
couple of months ago). The article has extensive photos, a schematic,
details of the Electrojector's Computer system and a candid "Owner's
View".

Enjoy,

I have been chatting with a fellow on line with a deep knowledge and
memory
that now lives in New Mexico about early FI and dyno tuning the early
systems. He was 10 years old at the time but remembers new Chryslers in
the
driveway of a neighbor that brought engineering cars home from Chrysler
engineering that had the Chrysler electronoic FI. There was someone on
this
list that had on hands experiences with Chrysler 300 FI so was curious
if
that person might have the memory that the New Mexico fellow has and
remember the family name of Hill being a neighbor? Curious and thank
you.
