Thank you Rob, for sharing your 300C seat cover experience with the list.
I'm sure your day is filled with enough other things that taking the time to
type all you did, was not done out of sheer boredom, but to entertain, share
and benefit others. 
 
Club members definitely benefit by being able to read what another goes
through during the restoration process, and many times it's not for the
faint of heart.  Frankly I'm surprised by the negative comments posted here
about the piece, very surprised.  
 
Folks, this is a CLUB we all belong to, not a fee paid tech support line.
Any and all members are encouraged to share 300 Letter Car related stories,
experiences, tech help, vendor issues, meet information etc.  If you receive
an email that doesn't interest you, just DELETE it!  Very simple.  
 
My concern is that negative comments like the recent examples, will
discourage individuals from posting 300 Letter Car related stories and
information, so as to not "offend" someone.  This is not a good thing and
not healthy for the camaraderie this club is known for.  
 
My advice to those that just want technical information, is to keep in mind
that information comes from learned experiences, and each learned experience
has a story behind it, like it or not.

PS:  As far as paragraphs go,  Keep in mind that emails don't always appear
on your screen just as the writer composed it.  Email programs can and do
mangle things.
