RE: [Chrysler300] Rear AC unit in a G?

Andy, the code from the archived build card, had a "315 custom cond
heater". The car was first owned by a couple in Nevada, a reason the
rear air would be used.

Is there any way to verify what the "315" code stood for?

Hi Paul,
There are a couple different factory documents that I
have copies of that specifically state the 300G was
not available with dual air.

I've seen a handful of 300Gs and other Chryslers that
did not have factory air and had a rear-only
aftermarket a/c unit. One called Mark IV or V seems to
have been a popular one, probably dealer installed.

Perhaps the original selling dealer plumbed something
like this into your car, or someone may have done it
later.
