Re: [Chrysler300] 300D Vibration

You would think that a tire priced that high would be of higher quality. I run the Hunter machine where I work, and it is an excellent machine for solving problems. Poor quality tires still take a lot of weight, and this is usually accompanied by a lot of run out. The machine also does not measure "hard spots on the rim". It measures the runout of the rim, and the stiffness of the tire side wall, and suggests the best location to mount the tire on the rim. It is not a fast process, as it requires letting the air out and re-positioning the tire on the rim. The best tires I have seem for run-out and minimal weight are still Michelin's, Bridgestone is pretty good too. Here is a link to the Hunter web site http://www.hunter.com/pub/product/balancer/index.htm?gclid=CKjykait-JoCFSMgDQodxjw3dg

Sounds like a lot of overkill - if you need to do that with $200 Coker
Tires, I would send them back as defective with a bill for shipping and
  mounting.
