[Chrysler300] Trans gasket

Having spent many years in dealerships, we never used any kind of
sealant. What we did do was to soak the cork gasket in water prior to
assembly, lay it on the pan, and install it. The tendency to over torque the
bolts, is what eventually causes crushing of the gasket and failure of the
seal. Follow the service manual instructions for the proper inch pound
settings for the proper torque and you should have no problems. Remember,
this is not a high pressure area.
