[Chrysler300] Further Information on '57 Heaven Mecum Auction Results

Hello 300'ly to all!
Just finished chatting with Larry Krauck, the on site manager for '57 Heaven. The auction is over. Total sales of everything came to about $7 million roughly. The majority of vehicles went between $100K- $160K. The 2 least expensive cars were the unrestored New Yorker and DeSoto wagons that each went for $25K. He wasn't sure of the selling price of the C convertible. The venue was that the collection remained in the museum with a camera person transmitting images to a packed theatre upstairs! Most folks there were present to buy the car of their dreams and getting it road worthy and driving it. A fellow came from Italy to bid on the Dual Ghia who owns four of them already. What a fabulous event to have been a fly on the ceiling! ROB KERN
