[Chrysler300] Adjusting F Carbs

Having problems getting carbs adjusted on newly built engine.

Using the factory service manual, we have followed the procedures outlined
below. Carbs are rebuilt and in apparent good shape. Chokes are working
properly.

1.	Turn idle screw one turn out.
2.	Turn fuel & air mixture screws out ¾ turns.
3.	Checked timing at 5 degrees BTDC with vacuum advance unhooked.
4.	Hooked up tach; hooked up vacuum. Adjusted screws of each carb
separately until idle is smooth at roughly 750 rpm. Engine holds steady at
750 rpm.
5.	Afterwards, rev up engine and engine stalls due to low rpm.

Can?t seem to get engine to maintain normal operating speed with smooth
idle. We are obviously missing something. Suggestions?

Thanks for all your help, as always. Trying to figure out if car is able to
drive to Virginal meet or will I have to bring it on a trailer to get these
last few items resolved.
