Let's start with what does work. This group's good but we need more to go on.

 

- Does the engine start and run? (Is the smoke coming off the valve covers because the engine is hot and burning oil? Or is the smoke coming from the valve cover because you have a short and your wires leading to the alternator and coil are smoking?)

- If the engine is starting, how are you starting it? (are you hot wiring it or using the ignition switch? Are you needing to jump the battery to fire it up?)

- If the battery is good, follow your power wires from the battery into the car with a test light or multimeter.

- Check your ground cables and straps.

I have a question. I have just recieved my new to me 300K.
NOTHING on the inside works, windows,seats,lights. Also..
The headlights and tailights don't work either. There is also 
smoke coming from...it looks like the valve covers.
Any and all help would be GREATLY appreciated.
