RE: [Chrysler300] speed-0-fix



I re-built a 57C speedo once. It was out of the car. The shaft was frozen
and would not look like it was going to ever turn. Took it apart and had to
apply penetrate and heat the bearing housing until it started to turn. Once
free and oiled it worked like new. A slight amount of resistance will
eventually take a toll on cable.
I would bet you could count of a few fingers how many of us have crawled
under there dash to remove the oil wick tube and soak that little felt wick
the lubes the speedo shaft. Gary
