RE: [Chrysler300] Disc Brake Conversion Followup .................................................

I purchased the adaptors only from AAJ. I bought for both my 57 Imperial and
57 300C. I swayed Roger to give the $225 ea. set as his old web site shows
that price. Std. price $250 set. The kit looks very nice.
Roger gives you a complete list of rotors, calipers, bearings, seals, hoses,
etc. to complete the job. I have a quote coming in from Napa for all the
components need to complete the conversion. Roger admitted it is best to buy
those items locally in case you have a reason to return something. Make sure
you ask for US made. They offer import and domestic. I will not buy import
(China) for my brakes.
That said I have not installed yet. Just getting the frame ready to paint,
then I can start to make it roll. I will give an update when brakes
installed. Don't hesitate to ask for discount when you get a quote for all
the components you will need.

.................................................

Good Saturday to everyone out there in 300 Land!

A brief followup to the disc brake conversion idea .......................

I happened across two vendors who specialize in disc brake conversions for
  the letter cars:

  * AAJ Brakes in Portland, Oregon; and
  * Engineered Components, Inc. in Vernon, Connecticutt.
Has anyone purchased components from either of these companies? If so, did
anyone run into problems doing their conversion?

Also, if anyone out there knows of any other vendors who specialize in
this, could you please notify me of such and how your conversion went?
  Recommendations on vendors, etc.?

  Thanks everybody!

  Sincerely,

  Tom
