The following is based on my experience with a '64. Looking at the manuals, it 
appears the frames for the '60 (unibody 60-64) are the same, although some minor 
details are different.

It may also help to remove the crossmember that supports the rear engine mount 
(4 bolts but an extremely tight fit). I also had to remove the radiator and also 
found that leaving off the water pump housing, pump, fan, crankshaft 
pulley, alternator/distributor and other accessories makes for more clearance 
during installation. I did not tighten down bolts to the front mounts (did not 
install the lower bolt)and used a floor jack to lift the transmission extension 
a tad in order to reinstall the crossmember and rear engine support.

Use an engine hoist that has a manual leveling device. With this, you can angle 
egine and trans to slide them in. An extra pair of hands would be helful in 
guiding the engine and transmission unit into the car. Play with the unit until 
all bolts can be installed and tightened.

It can be done - did mine last year in my 62 Sport - it's tight and you need to 
get the front of the car up high enough. Charlie in Ottawa.
