Sorry to hear of your experience.  We've all had 
some disappointments on eBay I'm afraid.  My 
criteria is that the feedback has to be positve, 
pretty dang close to 100%.  I almost never 
consider bidding on an item where the seller has 
less than 99% positive feedback.  Of course the 
feedback is only for one year's worth of sales 
now.  I try to look back several years for poor 
feedback, and in particular the seller's response 
to the poor feedback.  Those who try to denigrate 
the buyer are showing how they might respond to you if there is a problem.
