[Chrysler300] Re: 1963-64 Chrysler 300 J & K

Hey J & RAM-K guys, I reconnected with my source and he is willing to reproduce more heat pipes. If the club members would let me know how many sets I should have him make would be a help. The cost is not certain as of yet. I should have them in hand within a couple of months. The last ones were $250 for a set of 4 pipes. I'm sure the cost has gone up in the last ten years. The ones he made had thicker flanges and pipe. They are probably the last ones you will ever need.
300kly,

Don Cole

See attached picture. Waldron's does a great job on the ram exhaust pipe system and conceivably could fabricate the heat tubes but it is not clear they know what we're talking about. Let me know if Waldron's is on the same page as us before I go searching for a valuable set to use as a model. Tolerances will be tight and there is room for improvement in materials used to avoid delay corrosion & burnout. Waldron's expertise with aluminized and muffler-grade steel should prove valuable. Before we proceed, we need to know Don Cole's plans for producing another batch through his previous supplier.
