RE: [Chrysler300] On the Ranch Again

This seems to be gaining traction--must have a Sure-Grip and drag slicks. Ellis is right on I-70, about half way between KC & Denver. McPherson, KS is right on I-35, about 35 miles south of Salina on I-70, and features a college offering a degree in auto restoration! http://www.mcpherson.edu/autorestoration/	Wamego is also near I-70 west of Topeka.

Anyone have a contact at McPherson College? I'm in the mood to approach them to construct, own and operate a Chrysler 300 Museum as part of their auto restoration program and under their educational aegis. We might be able to make tax-deductible donations toward that end. I'll bet the Chrysler Corporation would participate heavily if the Museum's scope encompassed all 300's so as to add a little marketing pizzazz.

Ok have to get in here.

First off you could build on the already existing Chrysler Museum in Ellis Kansas where WPC grew up. Or you could go to Wamego Kansas where he was born and his family home is now being used as a welcome center. Every 4th of July they have WPC days celebration also.

Or come on up here to Nebraska where there is already an embarrassing all Chevrolet museum on I80---and show everyone what good cars are. We might even put our NOS one owner 49 T&C in there if the remainder of the great Chrysler product fleet is included.

Or at least be here next year for the 100th anniversary of the first transcontinental highway--the Lincoln Highway.

Hi all:

Well if you want to be fair to as many members as possible, if that is indeed possible, place the museum in Coffeyville, KS. That is very close to the accepted geographic center of the USA.

billllll has opened another can of coincidence. I live in the incorporated City of Brentwood in the Bay Area of CA—home of at least three Chrysler 300’s. Our mayor’s name is Robert Taylor and he does not own a ranch.

The Robert Taylor ranch that is for sale is near the Los Angeles neighborhood of Brentwood--home of Arnold Schwarzenegger’s ex wife, girlfriend/maid and love child. That Brentwood is famous for a certain white Ford Bronco owned by OJ Simpson.

But, it is OK to dream of a repository/museum of all things Chrysler 300.
But, let’s don’t do it in CA. Idiot protestors would key our cars and dose our 300’s with ketchup and CA regulators would place gas guzzler taxes on our beautiful brutes as they sat parked in our museum. Better place the
300 Museum near I-80 in Nebraska, already home of Big Red—and would welcome Louis’ Big Yellow.
