Hello Ron -- 

Well, I was mistaken;  I looked at them in detail today and I am now convinced that both the left and right air cleaners from my Dad's 300C appear to be identical in every way.  My own point of error was in marking them myself (with masking tape) as left and right as they came off the car for refinishing, so I could be sure to re-install them correctly.  Looks like I needn't have bothered!

Hi Ray -

My information indicates that they are both part no. 1821398, so that would indicate to me that they are the same. Same air cleaner as 57 Fury.

Sorry, all I will have is the matched pair, and of course will want to keep 
them that way.

In your search for the missing air cleaner for your 300C project, you will 
probably want to identify whether you need the left or right side unit; they 
are not identical.

Just wondering if you have a spare single air cleaner for the 300C ? I'm 
collecting parts for my future project and I have one of the saddle bag air 
cleaners. Now I'm looking to complete the set. Any condition is OK.
