I would just replace the seals. Its no big deal if you can get the seals.If 
 its just the lower seal next to the pittman arm you can replace it in the  
car.Remove the snap ring and start the engine & turn the sterring Wheel all 
 the way to the to the end of its travel & may have to rev it a little  & 
it will blow that seal out.Then emery cloth the shaft if needed &  drive the 
new seal in & put the snap ring back in place.
