Re: [Chrysler300] Aftermarket radio

Actually using the stock radio does not come much better than that. Using any modern radio will never be as good from the standpoint of sound quality. With a couple of adaptions added to your existing stock radio, an xm receiver you can have AMs, FMhd, mp3 and satellite radio all in stereo.
One place which does the modifications is: jcauto.com
Good luck,

Our 300C has a Secretaudio with the head mounted under the dash.  I put it on a hinge so I can hide it.

It works okay but not great.  I find the remote doesn't always do what I ask it to and yes the battery is good.  The unit was gifted to me so I guess I shouldn't complain.

I did install their front and rear dual speakers in the stock locations.  Once again they are okay but not like a modern system.

I put a trunk mounted radio with a wireless remote that you can put on the console and then put in the armrest compartment when you get to where you are going. You don't see anything in the car. It has a CD changer option, but it also has ipod and USB for a flash drive with MP3 songs. It is made by Secretaudio. I bought it from Classiccarstereos.com. They also carry a dual voice coil 6x9 speaker that fits in the dash and has four wire terminals for both left and right front speaker wires.

Hello Club. Any one have suggestions on the least invasive spot to place a modern radio/cd player in a 300G. Thanks for any suggestions. Travis
