[Chrysler300] Cast iron Torqueflite replacement / swap question

Hello all,
can someone explain what's required to replace a '59 cast iron trans with a '64 aluminum variety? The '64 has a cable for the park lever and a shift cable. I'm also pretty sure the '64's have two different valve body varieties... one for console shift and the other for button shift.  Is there an easier trans to use (keeping the pushbutton of course). Any info appreciated.

Thanks,
Mike Laiserin
