One Problem with changing these transmissions is that the engine crankshafts are different.The 59 has a longer shaft because the toque converter has studs on it and bolts on with nuts behind the crank flange &
the 64 crank flange has threads in the bolt holes and has a flex plate that bolts to the crank with bolts not nuts and the converter bolts on to the flex plate not directly to the crank like the 59 does.Also the bell housings are different. the bell housing on the 727 transmission is made on the the transmission case as one piece.  You can still use the push buttons but you will have to mount the park lever some where under the dash because a 59 does not have a special spot for this lever..
