The three mirror cables are color coded on the ends and the adjustment knob should be color coded, too.  Make sure the proper colored cables are in the proper colored notches on the adjuster.

Hi Joe,

 

If you take the control off the dash, you may see that one of the three wires that control the position of the mirror may be in the wrong place.  I think there is a guide where the wires go thru.

hi gang. my remote mirror on my 6y2 sport cant adjust. it springs to the up position. the shop had it off to get to the gas gauge.  any ideas?  thanks joe luciano  howard beach ny
