Day 2 - great cruising - cool, foggy, drizzly morning in OK. Sun finally appeared this afternoon; warmed up to 90; John's top came down. Amarillo to Alamagordo in the morning.

Had an eventful day today. Made it to Effingham as my generator died. Stopped by Spanky's, pulled it and took it his local rebuilder, reinstalled it and back on the road. While waiting for the rebuild, Spanky took us to a local Mopar muscle restorer buddy of his - great cache of mid- to late-60s iron. In mid-Missouri tonight with John Begian.
