RE: [Chrysler300] 56 300B

Hi George...I do not have that NAPA info, but have had them made new for
various cars, by local automotive hydraulic hose group....see local listings
on hydraulic hoses. One typical special was putting Toyota 4wd 80's PS box
in 57 Ford pickup, using Ford pump (metric to SAE).

I would be wary on NOS on this...too old. I got into an accident one time
going very fast around a corner in a 65 NYer Town and Country, white one
with blue leather in it ; MOPAR high pressure hose burst sending me into
the woods in about a 1/4 second. Was a nice wagon..Emphasis : = was. Old
"correct" hydraulic hoses are verboten to me.

While on site need a few things, maybe someone can help .
1)300 c, other mopar convert fit; The little circular lights in back seat,
the chrome ring and lens or just the lenses ; need 4
2)stronger hood springs for 300C, were D or E stronger? These simply cannot
be right , hood falls ? Was this a known problem? 300 hood obviously heavier
than Ny'er
3)the large spring in upper part of hood latch that makes the hood jump up ;
totally missing on my car, or complete upper part of hood latch..
4) the small spring in lower hood latch

57 Dodge; the letters DODGE for trunk, in reasonable shape, especially one D
and the SS stone guards forward of back wheels.

Thanks for reading this,..and for helping.

John Grady

Help?? I need the NAPA part numbers for the high pressure and return power
steering hoses for 300B.

Also, does anyone have a spare trunk latch that goes in the trunk lid for
the same car??

Thanks
George
