[Chrysler300] FOR SALE ... 1964 Chrysler 300K

FOR SALE …. 1964 Chrysler 300K
Serial Number … 8443106881
Speedometer reads 18,378. It’s probably 118,378
Last vehicle inspection was in New York state in 1984
The car is located in S.E. PA ( Zip Code 19465) and it comes with a 1964 Chrysler Newport Parts Car.
While the overall condition of the 300 is bad, anything’s fixable …Right ?
The major thing the 300 needs is a roof and a trunk lid. These 2 items seem to be okay on the Newport. The Newport is a 4 door sedan car but the guy selling the cars was told the roofs are the same. The rest of the body on the 300 is really not all that bad. The trunk seemed to be in fairly good condition.
The Newport is basically for the roof and the trunk. It’s a complete car and it seems like the 361 engine, transmission, rear and other mechanical parts may be usable. The fenders and doors are real bad on the Newport.
I believe that the original owner of the 300 was Charlie Spier’s of Vermont. In 1984 Charlie sold the 300 to Marcotte & Son’s Auto sales in New York. I believe they had the car inspected and it sat on their lot. A guy from PA was driving home from Vermont and saw the 300 in Marcotte’s lot and bought it. There does not seem to be any indication of a PA inspection sticker on the car, so he may have not had it licensed in PA, so the car just sat. He did buy some spare parts. Nothing seems to be NOS except for the Mopar Rings. Lots of sets of Mopar Rings which I assume are for the 413.
He is now deceased and his son is trying to sell the cars.
I do have some photos. If you want to see them just ask.
Call BOB for more information at 484-919-4059. He thinks they are worth more than they are. When he throws a price out there I believe that he is very willing to negotiate as the Township is after him to get rid of the cars.
I have no vested interest these cars and I am just trying to see if this 300 can find a new home. I tried to give my best assessment on the condition. I am sure you will see other things, good and bad, that I did not see.
Good Luck and Happy 300’ing !!!
