Just wondering --

You mention the E grill red color. Were the E grill and brake vents painted by the factory in a different red than that used on the Cs and Ds?

On the Cs and Ds the color match is best found by using the Chevy 283 engine red/orange. But if the Es used a different red, that wouldn't work.

I used Cummins red on my Egrill and intakes and on my F wheel centres. Not 100% correct, but can always get it and looks good.
