I might add this, empirical testing suggests that even if you have
an ignition system that claims to deliver mega volts, once there is
enough energy to bridge the spark-plug gap it wants to fire.
(providing the conditions for adequate spark are met)
So, even the factory ignition system should be able to provide
enough juice for the Big Bang.
