Hi Val,

If it was tack welded - probably a "shade tree" fix.

If like my H's, It's secured with 4 steel tabs and screws.

I may have one that I can text a picture of to you. (had a set of 4, but gave 3 away to a friend restoring a G).

                  My front ash tray assembly fell through the console. It appears to have been tac welded ? Please advise on best way to reinstall. Appreciate any help !
