Very helpful.  Did you just place one plug in the inlet tube on each side?  I keep thinking that this is a microprocessor app with variable orifices maintaining a constant charge temperature.  But, I will continue to fight those thoughts.

Rich and all,

 

I put 1” freeze plugs in my heat pipes to block off the flow to the bottom of the carbs. The only thing I did was drill a 1/4” hole in each plug for some of the heat to get thru. My “K” runs exceptionally well in New England climate. For what it’s worth, my 2 cents.

 This is for owners of Js and ram Ks.

 

I was making block off shims for the short

ram heat tubes. I used shim stock and scissors and

ended up with sharp edged pieces of junk.

Wondering why I do this when I know a guy in the stamping business

......now I have nice professional block off shims

with accurate dimensions and clean soft edges.
