Re: [Chrysler300] C300 on Ebay

Agree .. That looks like a very special car ; health issue stopping someone in middle of it ? Sounds like a built 354 with hot heads parts inc aluminum heads . They are north of 3k by themselves . Look like 10k or more in engine . That transmission is a joke if driven hard, but not what one would do now . Looks like nice or new interior pieces too . Had to be a stock stick shift 300.
Early ones not my thing , but this is the one if they were . Hot heads 354 got to 600 hp , more radical build than this , but 400 + easy here .without power flight limitations . Good thinking .

Just noticed that a '55 has been listed on ebay. In looking carefully at the "not so great" photos I'm pondering the possibility that this might be one that was originally shipped with a 3-speed manual transmission. The condition of the pedals, presence of radio delete and the presence of shifter delete all seem to match the general condition of the rest of the car. I can't reason why one would want to change to a 354 unless something serious had gone wrong with the 331. Anyway, just wondering if anyone might know something about this possibly rare car.
