Re: [Chrysler300] What to do.

The 1960 MoPar Accessories sales book lists both door guards and spotlights as available for 1960.  Dealers are told, "Recognize each new car buyer as an individual accessory market you create every time a vehicle is sold.  Remember, you have the first opportunity to cash in on the accessories market by asking the customer for his accessories order."

Purchase items included are neat things like: arm rest covers, locking gas tanks. vanity mirrors, floor mats, plexiglass sun visor, seat belts, curb signals, record player and ruglyde.  Ruglyde (I had to look that one up) is a triple purpose, liquid rubber compound that lubricates rubber; restores "new look"....Will clean leather, plastic and vinyl.

These were dealer options so doubtful an F came from the factory with them, but could certainly have come from the new car dealer with them.  One thing I've learned over the years though is to never say it couldn't have come with a specified option.

I would like to get as many opinions as possible.   My 300F came with a Drivers side Spot Light and Door Edge Guards.  I can’t ever recall any pictures of other 300’s with these options. As nearly as I can tell they came new with the car.
How many of my Fellow 300 Lovers would not put them back on after Restoration.  There’s a large hole that will have to be filled where the Spot Light was if I leave it off.
I was told a tale when I bought the car  Which came from Nevada that the car belonged to a Nevada Highway Patrol Big Shot.  That’s why the Spot Light.  I am in the process of getting all the Chrome ready to send out for rechroming and the Spot Light parts are included.

So Guys and Gals please give me your opinions.
