I agree..but admit to loving those 60 NY er louver rows on the lower fenders… 60 NY er convert probably much rarer car than an F convert…by a lot. Very tasteful car, to me, that NY er ----no toilet seat aspect (left unsaid, about minimal 300 trim…!) .
And 58 Regal Lancer in copper and white still one of the best looking of the whole finned genre. But to each his own, which is also fine!
I don't recall seeing a 300G with the stainless inserts between the taillights before. As stated, it was a NYer feature. An owner can indeed dress up the car anyway he/she wants, but it does take away from the originality of the G. The lettercars were noted for their lack of excess chrome or stainless trim. I think that applies to just about every year of the lettercars.
