Re: [Chrysler300] 1962 300H Caramel color paint

Allan, John and All,

Les McCurdy was a long time member of the Club having joined way back in the '70s.  He has not been active for many years, and I wondered if he was still around and how he was.  After some research on the web, I located a phone number for him.    I called and left a message.  Got a return call quite soon and we chatted for an hour or so.  He has had some health problems, but is doing well and sounded just like he always did.  Very alert and great memory.  It was so good to touch base with him.  Still lives in eastern PA.

Thought many of you who remember Les would enjoy knowing how he is.

John,

Bill Codner's F convertible is white.  He took it from practically a junk car that was sunken in the mud to its present condition which is spectacular.  Still has it.

You might be thinking of Les McCurdy's F.  It was a very light beige which probably was the Ditzler color Daytona Sand.

All of a sudden big attraction to tan. Must be 2017? I am painting an F Toyota Tacoma sand.

After ? I think it was Bill Codner’s sand 300F convert; that was a spectacular F, in early days of club.  Was a lighter buff color than Carmel I think..as is the Tacoma color. Look at new Tacoma’s ..

 This thread has me thinking…
